The 2009 Energy Conference will be held April 14th at the Lea County Event Center in Hobbs, NM. Registration for the conference is now open.

This important national event will reflect renewable energy in the current
economic climate and will also highlight the clean energy technologies initiatives of Sen. Jeff Bingaman, the keynote speaker.

Experts from industry and energy research centers will focus on renewable energy policy and technology, including solar, wind, biological and
geothermal. Specific topics will include renewable fuels technology, electricity transmission and the grid, clean energy, carbon caps and trade, federal regulation, climate change and renewable energy in a
changing economy.
